This full-home renovation project in Birmingham, Alabama, began as a fixer-upper purchase for two architect homeowners with a bold vision. The project included a custom master suite addition, framed by the homeowners themselves, positioned at a slight angle and raised elevation to create architectural contrast while maximizing the constraints of a tight urban lot. Once the structural shell was complete, the couple partnered with our experienced remodeling team to bring their vision to life.
We opened up the traditional floor plan to create one cohesive living, kitchen, and dining area—ideal for entertaining and modern lifestyles. The kitchen remodel features premium materials including stainless steel countertops, honed black granite with a waterfall edge, and a soft-veined quartz backsplash. Custom cabinetry, fabricated from vertical grain, quarter sawn white oak, provides seamless storage solutions for pantry items, laundry appliances, and media equipment.
